   James Gardner 75, of Teton City, died May 18, 2009 at the Rexburg nursing center from complications of a stroke.

Jim was born Feb. 28, 1934 at Teton City the son of Floyd and Thelma Rawson Gardner. He grew up in Teton where he attended school graduating from South Fremont High School in l952. He served in the Idaho National Guard and was honorably discharge.

Jim married Ona Mae Hansen on Nov. 18, 1954 . She was killed in an accident at his parents home on Feb. 17, 1955.

Jim married Kim Hunter on Aug. 26, 1961. They had four children and were later divorced. He Married Linda Anna Youngstrom June 13, 1981. They had two children.

Jim worked for area farmers and for the Idaho Stud Mill in St. Anthony until it closed he then worked for Morey Bergmeyer in Driggs, ID. until he retired. Jim was a active member of the LDS Church and attended the temple weekly.

He enjoyed fishing, gardening and wood working.

He is survived by his wife Linda, of Teton City, Two Sons Jamie Gardner and Deric Gardner Step Children Terri, Shirley, Rodney and Max. 4 children from Kim - Vickie, Ryan, Lanny and Tracy, 16 Grandchildren, 6 sisters, Elnora Hansen, Betty Russell, Shirley Biorn, Syble Christensen, Sabra Gagnon and Debra Cautle 4 brothers, Dave, Eddie, Robert and Brig Gardner. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife Ona Mae and a sister Esther.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday, May 22, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. in the Teton LDS second LDS Ward Chapel with Bishop Bill Hollist officiating. Friends may call at Bidwell Funeral Home Thursday from 7 to 8 p.m. and at the church Friday one hour prior to the time of services. Burial will be in the Teton-Newale Cemetery.
