   Margetta Bales Davis 82, of Wilford passed away Oct. 12, 2009 at her home surrounded by her family.

She was born Aug. 13, 1927 , in Rexburg, ID. She was the youngest of three children born to Margaret Ann Beesley Bales and William Arthur Bales. She grew up and attended school in Rexburg graduating from Madison High School.

She married William Ross Davis on Nov. 20, 1946 and moved to Wilford where they farmed, raising horses, cattle and sheep; there they raised 7 children. Their marriage was solemnized in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple on June 9, l965. She was a active member of the LDS Church and served in many callings including Primary and Relief Society serving as a counselor in the Presidency. Her family was the love of her life and she enjoyed spending time with them.

She is survived by two daughters, Louanna (Danny) Bonsor, Plano, ID.; Susan Davis, Wilford, ID.; four sons, Jimn Davis, Teton, ID.; Sam (Neva) Davis, Tim (Cathy) Davis, and David (Susan) Davis all of Wilford. 22 Grandchildren 28 Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her oldest son Scott, her parents, two sisters, two great grandsons and Ross.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday Oct. 17, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. in the Wilford LDS Church with Bishop Rodney Dalling, officiating. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. at the Bidwell Funeral Home in St. Anthony and at the Church Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 prior to the services. Burial will be in the Wilford Cemetery.
