   Frank Edward Rydalch 89, died Feb. 14, 2009 at his Idaho Falls Apartment from natural causes.

Frank was born Jan. 23, 1920 at Edmunds, Idaho the son of Davis Hunter and Ester Jane Parkinson Rydalch. He grew up in Parker where he attended his elementary education graduating from St. Anthony High School. He joined the U.S. Army from l940 to 1945. While in the military he met Muriel Childs

He married Muriel Leola Childs on Aug. 17, 1942 at Springville, Utah. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple in 1971. They lived in St. Anthony from 1944 until 1953 when they moved to Plano. In 1980 they moved back to St. Anthony where they lived until Muriel passed away on July 18, 1981. Frank was known for his innovative farming. He also was active in the community serving on the Madison Memorial Hospital Board, Sugar Salem School District Board, Independent Canal Co. He also held many positions in the LDS Church.

Frank married Margaret Taylor in Dec. of 1982 in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. They lived in Idaho Falls and during the winter lived in Mesa, AZ. He loved to golf and visit with people.

Frank is survived by his wife Margaret of Idaho Falls, children - Dave (Jan) Rydalch and Sheralee (Mike) Lawson both of St. Anthony, Judy Graham , Bountiful, UT.; and Debra Ann Rydalch, Twin Falls, ID.; 11 Grandchildren, 17 Great Grandchildren, and one sister Paulene (Ivan) Abegglen, St. Anthony, Step Children Bill (Genie) Taylor, serving as mission President in the North Africa mission in Nigeria, Kent (Larraine) Taylor, Osgood, ID.; Iris (Larry) Hunter, Boise, ID.; Carl (Linda) Taylor, Osgood, ID.; Alyce Joy (Tom) Nelson, Belview, WA.; Shelly (Dan) Nelson, Moses Lake, WA.; Anita (Brad) Reed, Osgood, ID.; 41 Step Grandchildren, 76 Step Great Grandchildren. Besides his first wife he was preceded in death by 7 brothers, 1 sister and one granddaughter.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, Feb. 18, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. in the St. Anthony Idaho Stake Center (247 E. 4th N.) Friends may call at the Bidwell Funeral Home Tuesday evening from 7 to 8 p.m. and again Wednesday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until 10:45 just prior to the services. Burial will be in the Parker Cemetery where military rites will be performed by the St. Anthony American Legion and V.F.W. posts. Special Thanks to hospice and Fairwinds Retirement personnel.
