   Harold Nebeker 84, died March 7, 2009 in the Ashton Living Center.

Harold was born Oct. 12, 1924 at Rigby, Idaho the son of George Wesley and Fannie Elizabeth Vincent Nebeker. He grew up in the Rigby area where he attended his schooling. Harold joined the U.S. Navy during WW2.

He married Colleen Blair on Sept. 7, 1943 in the Logan LDS Temple. Harold worked for Boise - Payette in Rigby where they lived until l957. He was transferred to Driggs until l965 when they moved to St. Anthony where they made their home. Harold continued to work for Boise Cascade (BMC West). He also raised cattle and worked for Remington Produce and Farmers Equity. Colleen died on Dec. 19, 2000. Harold has lived the last several years in nursing care facilities due to his Alzheimers condition. He loved his animals and family.

He is survived by his children- Diane Parsons, St. Anthony, ID.; Michael Nebeker, Rigby, ID.; Susan ( LaVar) Hunter, Egin Bench, ID.; Peggy (Tim) Peterson, Salt Lake City, UT.; Geraldine (Mike) Morris, Meridian, ID.; 22 Grandchildren 25 Great Grandchildren. Besides his wife he was preceded in death by two Grandsons Jace Remington and Blake Peterson, 3 sisters and 1 brother.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, March 12, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. in the St. Anthony 2nd LDS Ward Chapel with Bp. Myron Powell, officiating. Friends may call at the Bidwell Funeral Home Wednesday evening from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. and at the Church Thursday one hour prior to the services. Burial will be in the Rigby Pioneer Cemetery where military rites will be performed by the Jefferson Co. Burial Team.
