LaRene Neeley

   LaRene Andersen Neeley 64, died Mar. 3, 2009 at her home in St. Anthony following a illness with cancer.

LaRene was born May 26, 1944 at Idaho Falls, ID. the daughter of Albert Eugene and Lila Grover Andersen. She grew up in the Rigby, Idaho area where she attended her schooling.

She married William “Bill” Ernest Price on Dec. 17, 1959 in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. They had two children. They were later divorced.She married Doyle Lynn Neeley on May 10, 1969 at Pocatello, Idaho. Their marriage was solemnized in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple on Dec. 30, 1981. They have lived in Rexburg, Sugar City, Mt. Vernon, WA.; Reno, NV.; Petaluma, CA.; and back to St. Anthony in l989 where they have since resided.

In her younger years she worked at the Idaho Fresh Pack and Roger Bro’s. as a lab tech. She attended Skagit Valley College in Mt. Vernon, WA. where she received her Real Estate License and sold real estate for 5 years. She received her Idaho Real Estate Brokers license. She was Realtor of the Year for 2007 and Served as President of the Upper Valley Real Estate Board in 2008.

She was a member of the St. Anthony Lady Lions Club and helped with the Junior Miss Pageant for many years. She was also a active member of the LDS Church serving as Pres. of the Relief Society, Pres. of the Young Womens organization, Camp Director, Sunday School teacher and was Primary Pianist. She enjoyed arts and crafts, raising Miniature Poodles, shopping and in her younger years riding horses.

She is survived by her husband Lynn of St. Anthony, Children - Kelley (Mae) Neeley, Troy, MI.; Kristine Jensen, Long Beach, CA.; David Neeley, Dubai, Saudi Arabia,; Scott Neeley, Houston, TX.; Steve (Denise) Neeley, Colorado Springs, CO.; Mike (Pam) Price, Meridian, ID.; David (Sue) Price, Spencer, ID.; 12 Grandchildren, 8 Great Grandchildren. Siblings - Woodrow (Teresa) Andersen and Terry (Connie) Andersen both of St. Anthony, ID.; Margaret (Greg) Brower, Gilbert, AZ.; Lisa (Mike) Hunter, Scott (Trina) Andersen both of Rigby, ID.;

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, March 7, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. in the St. Anthony fourth LDS Ward Church with Bp. Rick Hill, officiating. Friends may call at the Church Friday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. and again at the Church Saturday one hour prior to the Services . Burial will be in the St. Anthony Riverview Cemetery under the direction of the Bidwell Funeral Home.
