   Betty Ruth Osborne LeCheminant 81, a former resident of the St. Anthony area died Dec. 20.2010 at her home in Idaho Falls surrounded by her family.

Betty was born Jan. 29, 1929 at Ashton, Idaho and brightened the life of her parents George and Mable Osborne and her sister Helen. Betty grew up and attended her schooling in Ashton where she graduated from High School.

She married Eugene Thomas LeCheminant on Sept. 13, 1949 at Jackson, Wyoming. They had four daughters and one son. Most of their married life they lived in St. Anthony, ID.; Gene died Feb. 26, 1990.

Betty worked at various jobs but the most important to her was being a mother to her children. She loved doing volunteer work with her friends. Her family enjoyed seeing her progress as an artist and are proud to display her art work in their homes. Her family loved going to Grandma’s house to play card games, which she usually won.

Betty is survived by her children - Gloria (Ernie) Laker, Post Falls, ID.; Marla (Howard) Case and Gwen (Donald) Edington both of Idaho Falls: Tom (Debbie) LeCheminant, Salt Lake City, UT.; Carol (Scot) White, Idaho Falls, ID.; 9 grandchildren, 71/2 Great Grandchildren, a sister Helen High, Ashton, ID.; Besides her Husband and Parents she was preceded in death by a sister Eva Young.

Betty wishes were to be cremated under the direction of the Bidwell Funeral Home in St. Anthony. Private Graveside services will be conducted Wednesday, Dec. 29, 2010 in the Wilford Cemetery with Reverend Joe Martinez, Officiating. A celebration of life will be held that same day from 1-4 p.m. at the Eagles Lodge and all friends and family are invited to attend. In lieu of flowers the family request donation be made to the Hospice of Eastern Idaho.
