Harold M. "Butch" Nagle

 

  Harold M. “Butch” Nagle 62, died Oct. 12, 2010 at his home in St. Anthony following a lingering illness due to cancer from exposure to agent orange while in Vietnam.

Butch was born July 8, 1948 in St. Anthony, Idaho the son of Harold “Junior” Nagle and Minnie Morton Nagle. He grew up in the Parker area where he attended his elementary schooling graduating from South Fremont High School.

He entered into the Idaho National Guard in l966 and served until l971.

He married Sandra Le Moon on June 19, 1970 in St. Anthony. They lived in Parker and St. Anthony and were later divorced. Butch worked for many years for Fremont Co. He also worked in Construction. He loved life and had an infectious personality. He always put a smile on people faces. He had a deep love for his family. He was a loyal friend and would do anything for his friends. He enjoyed golfing, camping, four-wheeling, boating, his dogs, and socializing. He will be deeply missed by his friends and family.

He is survived by his children - Lori Rowbury, Dusty (Kristy) Nagle, both of St. Anthony, ID.; Sharee (Jake) Miller, Egin, ID. Kristal (Rick) Miller, Parker, ID.; and Brittany Mandryk, Salt Lake City, UT. Siblings - Sandee (Grant) Homer, Firth, ID.; Cheryl Wilmot, Idaho Falls, ID.; Ardell Nagle, Rexburg, Debbie (Terry) Bauer and Marcy (Bret) Bradshaw, both of St. Anthony, 10 Grandchildren and a special friend Billie Troutman and her daughter Mindy. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a brother Ryne “Rowdy” Nagle.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday Oct. 16, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. in the St. Anthony Idaho LDS Stake Center with Bp. DelRay Davenport, officiating. Friends may call at Bidwell Funeral Home Friday evening from 6 to 7:30 p.m. and at the Stake Center Saturday one hour prior to the services. Burial will be in the Parker Cemetery where military rites will be performed by the St. Anthony V.F.W. and American Legion.
