   Daniel Maurice (Dan) Coronel, 57, formerly of Idaho Falls, ID., passed away Feb. 12, 2010 in Junction City, Oregon at his sisters home, from lingering health problems.

He was born July 7, 1952 in Salem, Oregon the son of David Maurice Coronel and Phillis Trent Coronel. He attended school in Salem. After graduation, he joined the Army where he served for three years in Germany. After his honorable discharge, he returned to Oregon to pursue his career as a very successful carpenter.

In l987 he moved to Stockton California where he met Wendy Fransen. They had a daughter, Danielle Rebecca Coronel. They moved to St. Anthony, Idaho in l971 to be near her family. After they separated, Dan moved to Idaho Falls where he was a very reputable carpenter/contractor. Dan was known for his high quality work and honesty in his dealing with people. In April 2008, Dan returned to Oregon.

Dan enjoyed fishing, golfing, and watching his daughter perform in dance. He was known for his generosity towards his friends and family. His greatest enjoyment was spending time with his daughter and grandson, Karson Daniel Coronel, who was his pride and joy.

Dan is survived by is daughter, Danielle and Grandson of St. Anthony, ID.; his step children, Alanna Myers of St. Anthony, Jeremy, Heather, and Hollie Fransen all of Pocatello, ID.; Sisters, Bekie (Ted) Wilde and Cindy (Dave) Mingus both of Eugene, Or. He was preceded in death by his mother and grandparents, Dan & Iva Trent.

Memorial services will be conducted, Saturday, Feb. 27, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. in the Bidwell Funeral Home in St. Anthony where military rites will be performed by the St. Friends may come to the funeral home one hour prior to the services. Anthony V.F.W. and American Legion. As per Dan’s request he was cremated in Oregon
