Larry Holman

   Larry Holman 74, of St. Anthony, died Dec. 2, 2010 in the Madison Memorial Hospital from natural causes.

Mr. Holman was born Aug. 14, 1936 at Sugar City, Idaho the son of Darwin Rider Holman and Ethel Ellen Gardner Holman. He grew up in the Sugar City area where he graduated from high school. He also graduated from Ricks College, BYU, and received his Masters degree at the University of Idaho.

He married NaDara Jackson on 16 June l961 in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. He served as Branch President in Halfway, Oregon for 10 years. He was also a faithful home teacher. Mr. Holman taught mathematics and received the Utah Mathematics teacher of the year award in l983. He and his wife have lived in Grace, Sugar City, & St. Anthony, Idaho,: Tropic and Dugway Utah,: Lyman, Wyoming, & Halfway, Oregon. After retiring in 1998 they made their home in St. Anthony where they have since resided. He was a avid fly fisherman.

He is survived by his wife NaDara of St. Anthony, Children- KC (Sharon) Holman, JaLene (Tracy) Mochizuki, Jace (Linda) McLane and Steven D. Holman, all of Salt Lake City, UT.; Suzanne Golden, Tooele, UT.; Linette (Jim) White, San Antonio, TX.; Kendra (Greg) Bott, North Las Vegas, NV.; and Blake Dee Holman, St. Anthony, ID.; Siblings - Max D. (Shearer) Holman, and Deanna Neibaur, both of Salt Lake City, UT.; Blair (Myrna) Holman, Montclair, CA.; Doyle (Joyce) Holman, Hemet, CA.; Lueen (Ellis) Davies, North Edwards, CA.; and Viola Williams, Las Vegas, NV. 23 Grandchildren 1 great grandchild. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a sister Brenda Holman.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday, Dec. 6, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. in the St. Anthony Fourth LDS Ward with Bishop Kyle Moore, officiating. Friends may call at the Bidwell Funeral Home Sunday evening from 5 to 6:30 p.m. and at the Church Monday one hour prior to the services. Burial will be in the Sugar City, Cemetery.
