  Wallace Clark Robinson 87, died Sept. 6, 2010 at his home in Newdale following a lingering illness.

Mr. Robinson was born Aug. 28, 1923 at Newdale, Idaho the son of Heber Clarence and Clarice Maude Johnson Robinson. He grew up in the Newdale area where he attended his elementary schooling, Sugar Salem High School and Ricks College in Rexburg. During World War ll he served in the Army from Nov. 1943 and was honorably discharged in March of l946.

He married Belva Jean Staker on Dec. 19, 1944 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. They have since made their home in Newdale where Mr. Robinson Farmed. Wallace was active in the community serving as the LDS Bishop for many years, served in the Bishopric at Ricks College, was a scout leader, a member of the potato board and sang in the ward Choir. He was also the inventor of Wackee Six game.

He is survived by his wife Belva of Newdale, Children - Larid Dee (Kathy) Robinson, Christine (Bruce) Harper, both of Newdale,ID.; Peggy Lee (Jack) Gibson, Rexburg, ID.; Janet Lorraine (Kim) Yearsley, Hamer, ID.; Patti Laree (Dennis) Perkins, Kaysville, UT.; one Sister June Mortensen, Lyman, ID.; 30 Grandchildren, 60 Great Grandchildren. Besides his parents and step father he was preceded in death by 4 brothers, 2 sisters one son and one great grandchild.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday, Sept. 13, 2010 at ll:00 a.m. in the Newdale LDS Church with Bp. Conn Crapo, officiating. Friends may call at the Newdale Church Sunday evening from 7 to 8:30 and Monday one hour prior to the services. Burial will be in the Teton Newdale Cemetery under the direction of the Bidwell Funeral Home.
