Diana Siddoway Richman

   Diana Siddoway Richman 87, passed away June 27, 2014 in the Idaho Falls Hospital following a short illness.

Diana was born Aug. 22, 1926 in Teton City, Idaho the daughter of James Clarence and Ruth Bean Siddoway. She grew up in Teton City where she attended her elementary schooling, first in the old stone school, then in the stone church and then the new brick grade school. She attended Madison High School until her senior year when she went to St. Anthony where she graduated. She also attended the Colorado Women’s College in Denver CO.

She married Bert B. Richman on Jan. 19, 1946 in Teton City, Idaho. They lived in Logan, UT.; Farmington, UT.; and Teton City, Idaho. Mr. Richman passed away in May of l992.

Diana was active in the LDS Church serving in various callings. She also served on the P.T.A. and was President of the Madison Republican Women and in l995 was appointed to the House of Representatives. She also served at the first woman president of the Rexburg Rotary Club. She served on the board of directors of the Developmental workshop.

She is survived by her children ; Mike (Lois) Richman, Nancy Richman both of Teton City, ID.; Megan (Bill) Howe, Salt Lake City, UT.; Mary (Matt) Richman, Tacoma, WA.; Jane Richman, Boise, ID.; Ruth (Dave) Langlois, Portland, OR.; a brother J. Theodore Siddoway, Santa Rosa, CA. and a sister in law Jeanne Siddoway St. Anthony, ID.; . 9 Grandchildren 18 Great Grandchildren.

Besides her Parents and Husband she was preceded in death by a daughter Patricia Richman and 6 brothers - James Siddoway, Bill Siddoway, Denton Siddoway, Grant Siddoway, Forest “Bud” Siddoway and Jack Siddoway.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, July 2, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in the Teton First LDS Ward Chapel with Bp. Ryan Lerwill, officiating. Friends may call at the Bidwell Funeral Home in St. Anthony Tuesday evening from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. and at the church Wednesday one hour prior to the time of services. Burial will be in the Teton-Newdale Cemetery. Family suggest contributions be made to the Developmental Workshop in Rexburg.
