Doris Andersen Stewart

   Doris Andersen Stewart 87 passed away Tuesday, Sept. 3, 2013 in Driggs. Idaho
Doris was born Nov. 23, 1925 in Idaho Falls, ID. the daughter of Ede Uriah and Elizabeth Campbell Andersen. She grew up in Clawson, ID.

Through out a life of dedicated service to her Father in Heaven , husband, children, family and friends. Mother maintained a brave and Cheerful outlook and optimistic future, even through many difficult health challenges. With her husband she raised five children and was involved in their lives. and continued full support throughout the rest of her life.

She married Earl William Stewart after he returned from World War ll. They were married in Butte Montana and the marriage was later solemnized in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple on Aug. 18, 1981. They raised their family in Tetonia, Id.

Filled with compassion and interest in serving the :lord. Doris served in the Primary where she had a big influence on the lives of many children in the community;. She also filled many other church positions over the years, always giving 110%. Doris loved fishing, golfing, crossword puzzles and was good with numbers and games. But mostly she loved the church and fulfilling her callings. Mr. Stewart passed away in Feb. 1996.

Doris is survived by her children, Cheryl (Kyle) Tonks, Victor, ID.; Earl Craig (Sandra Smith) Stewart, Darby, ID.; Rowena (Mike) Beard, Shelley, ID.; James “Bill” William (Patty) Stewart, Victor, ID.; and Stacy (Cheryl) Stewart, Driggs, ID.; 27 Grandchildren, 27 Great Grandchildren, 4 Great Great Grandchildren besides many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, Sept. 7, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in the Victor LDS Church with Bp/ Val Kunz. Officiating. Friends may call at the Church in Victor Friday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. and at the Church Saturday one hour prior to the services. Burial will be in the Cache-Clawson Cemetery under the direction of the Bidwell Funeral Home.

The family wishes to thank everyone for your kind words and prayers on her behalf. A Special thanks to Sue Beard, Hospice Nurse and Family members whose caring heart and special talents brought peace and love to our family.
