JoAnn Row Rawson

   JoAnn Row Rawson 65, passed away Jan. 16, 2013 in the emergency room at Madison Hospital following a sudden heart attach. JoAnn was born Oct. 21, 1947 at Rexburg, Idaho the daughter of Horton Reuben Row and Inez Smith Row. She grew up in Sugar City where she attended her schooling.

She married Kenneth Blaine Rawson on Nov. 24, 1964 in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. They made their home in Teton City where they lived until l992. They then moved to Sugar City where they have since resided.

JoAnn was active in the LDS Church, where she served lovingly and diligently as the compassionate service coordinator for many years. JoAnn loved cats, and gave her time and resources to supported pet adoption. She also loved Gardening, and serving others, including as a Girl Scout leader. Above all JoAnn was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, and her children and grandchildren loved her dearly. She worked at Basic American Foods for over 35 years where she made many dear friends.

She is survived by her loving eternal companion Kenneth Blaine Rawson, Sugar City, Children - Blaine (Crystal) Rawson, Centerville, UT. Michael K. Rawson, Sugar City, ID.; Katrina Ann (Jesse) Wygal, Lyman, ID.; Kammie Joe (Robert) Dennis, Hibbard, ID.; Kimberly (Gary) Willard, Eagle Mountain, UT.; Kristan (Jeremy) Workman, Idaho Falls, ID.; a brother Thomas Blair (Sandy) Row, Lake Havasu, AZ.; and a sister Marjean (Forrest) Wilson, Lewisville, ID. JoAnn is also survived by 18 adoring Grandchildren and one Great Grandson. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by 3 brothers and one sister.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday, Jan. 21, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. in the Sugar City first LDS Church with Bishop Dan Yardley, officiating. Friends may call at the Church Sunday Jan. 20, 2013 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. and again Monday one hour prior to the services. Burial will be in the Sugar City Cemetery.
