  Kenneth “Kenny” Andrew Wilder, 48, of St. Anthony, died Friday, April 3, 2015 at his home.

He was born May 14, 1966, in Denver Colorado, to Llewellyn O. and Lois D. Wilder. He grew up in Grantsville, Utah and later moved to Idaho finally landing in St. Anthony. While living in Utah with his parents and sisters, Mary and Ramona, Kenny was active in sports and all types of outdoor activities. When not with his friends you would find him hunting with his dogs. Kenny also spent summers with his grandparents in Northern California.

He married Beverly A. Wilder on June 9, 1992, in Grantsville UT at his parents’ home. His daughter, Courtney was born March 30, 1988. Son Wyatt was born September 17, 1995 and daughter, Martina was born January 15, 2000. He worked at the Juvenile Corrections Center in St. Anthony and 5C Detention and Youth Rehabilitation Center with troubled youth for over 20 years. He also served on the board of the Idaho Juvenile Justice Association and was a Peace Officers Standards Training (POST) instructor. Kenny had a great sense of humor and always had a smile he was willing to share. Kenny was a camper and spent many summer months playing horseshoes. As the kids got older, you could find Kenny coaching sports or watching his kids participate in many activities. Kenny was a golfer and could be found on the course playing “skins” with his crew.

Surviving are his wife, Beverly; his three children, Courtney Wilder of Ririe, Wyatt Wilder of St. Anthony, Martina Wilder of St. Anthony; his father, Llewellyn Wilder of Grantsville, UT; and his two sisters, Mary and Ramona Wilder of Grantsville, UT. He is also survived by two grandchildren, Parker and Payton Miller. He was preceded in death by his mother.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, April 9, i n the Twin Groves 2nd Ward church in St. Anthony with Bishop Jerry Hackworth, officiating. Interment will follow at Wilford Cemetery. Friends may visit with family before the service from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the church. Donations being accepted at any Bank of Idaho branch in the name of Beverly Wilder.
