   Lea Dross Wellard 94, a longtime resident of Teton City, passed away Apr. 16, 2013 in the St. Anthony Homestead Assisted Living Center.

Lea was born May 30, 1918 in LaMar, Colorado the daughter of Soloman and Lydia Wollart Dross. She grew up in Sheboygan, Wisconsin and at the age of 12 moved to Idaho where she graduated from the 8th grade at Moody.

She married Lee Wellard on Oct. 28, 1936 in Rexburg. They made their home in Teton City where Mr. Wellard farmed. Lea enjoyed bowling and was a member of the bowling league for 35 years. She was also very active in the St. Anthony Senior Citizens for years. She enjoyed cards, bingo, dancing and family. Mr. Wellard passed away in Aug. 1981.

Lea is survived by her children Trena Moon, Teton City, ID.; Ann Snyder, Idaho Falls, ID.; and Bonnie (Wes)Thomson, St. Anthony, ID. 10 Grandchildren 22 Great Grandchildren & 1 Great Great Granddaughter. Besides her parents and husband she was preceded in death by one daughter, Barbara Gardner & two sisters Emma & Hilda.

Memorial services will be conducted Saturday, Apr. 20, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. in the Teton-Newdale Cemetery. A family visitation will be conducted in the Teton LDS Church from 1:00 to 2:00 P.M. just prior to going to the cemetery for services.
