   Lee Orin Wilding 91, a longtime resident of the Teton City area died Thursday, Mar. 24, 2011 in the Ashton Living Center due to age.

Lee was born Oct. 8, 1919 at Sugar City, Idaho the son of David Rawlins Wilding and Venna Leavitt Wilding. He grew up in the Teton-Newdale area. He attended his elementary schooling in Teton, graduated from High School at Sugar Salem High and attended Ricks College.

During World War two he served in the Army in the Philipians and Korea and was honorably discharged as a corporal.

He married Wilma Hill on Nov. 4, 1941 in the Logan LDS Temple. They lived in Jerome before making their home in Teton. They spent several winters in Brownsville, Texas. They enjoyed dancing and taught square dancing, ballroom dancing for many years. He was active in the LDS Church serving in many capacities.

He worked as a carpenter for various places including Ricks College, and for John Bean. He also worked for the U.S. Forrest Service.

He is survived by his wife Wilma of Ashton, Children- Doreen (Dennis) Gregan, Blackfoot, ID.; Lanny (LaRue) Wilding, Idaho Falls, ID.; Jackie (Phil) Winterowd, Salmon, ID.; Blair (Kelly) Wilding, Springfield, Oregon; Tauna Saurey, Chester, ID.; a brother Milton (Mona) Wilding, Sugar City, ID.; and a sister-in-law Janice Wilding, Teton City, ID. 14 Grandchildren, 30 Great Grandchildren and two Great Great Grandchildren. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by three brothers, one sister and one grandson.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, March 26, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. in the Teton Second LDS Ward Chapel with Bp. Craig Carter, Officiating. Friends may call at the Teton Church Saturday from 11:30 until l2:45 just prior to the services. Burial will be in the Teton-Newdale Cemetery where Military Rites will be performed by the Madison Co. Burial Team. Arrangements are under the direction of the Bidwell Funeral Home in St. Anthony.
