   Phyllis Bergeson Quayle 64, passed away Aug. 31, 2011 at her home in Egin, Idaho.

Phyllis was born Nov. 27, 1946 in Wilford, Idaho to Mary and Jess Bergeson. Phyllis grew up in Parker and attended Parker Elementary and South Fremont High School graduating in l965.

On Oct. 31, 1969 she married Ernest Young Quayle. She attended LDS Business College and Ricks College in Rexburg, ID. graduating with an associates degree in Horticulture. In 1996 she graduated from Idaho State University with a Bachelors of Science Degree in secondary education in biology.

Phyllis had a love of science and taught at Rigby Jr. High and Burke High School. She then worked at the Harriman State Park as a guide, where she combined her love of the outdoors with her teaching skill. This adventure soon led to employment at Henrys Lake where she flourished as a natural interpreter.

She enjoyed many hobbies including gardening, landscaping, cooking, and especially spending time with her grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband Ernest of Egin, ID.; Children, Kale Bergeson, Pocatello, ID.; Ann (Dusty) Peterson, Hamer, ID.; Maucita Quayle, Pocatello, ID.; a step daughter Lori Mahoney, Denver, Co.; 12 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Two sisters DeAnn (Lloyd) Greenhalgh, Rigby, ID.; LaRae Bergeson, Rexburg, ID.; two brothers Clinton, (Vicki) Bergeson, St. Anthony, ID. and Bryant Bergeson, North Ogden, Ut.; Besides her parents she was preceded in death by a sister, Renae and a step son Thomas Michael Quayle.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, Sept. 3, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. in the Egin Bench LDS Church . Friends may call call at the Church Saturday one hour prior to the services. Burial will be in the Parker Cemetery. Condolences to the family may be sent to
