   Russell L. Crockett 80, also known locally as Davy Crockett died April 20, 2011 at his home following a illness with cancer.

Mr. Crockett was born Aug. 24, 1930 at Acton, Indiana the son of Homer and Edith Trisler Crockett. He grew up in Indiana where he received his schooling graduating from the George Washington High School. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1948 to 1952.

He worked for several years for the Louisiana Pacific Lumber Company in Rexburg. Wocelka Logghing in St. Anthony. He enjoyed fishing, nascar, Indianapolis Colts football team.

He is survived by his children - Doug Crockett, Sharon Crockett both of Indiana, Susan Crockett, West Virginia, and Rozann (Glenn) Armstrong, St. Anthony, Idaho. Grandchildren - Glenn (TaMara) Armstrong, Erica Maupin, Sheridan Armstrong, Kelli Lynch, Jamie Crockett, Murray (Andrew) Angelina (David)Gonzalez, , Great Grandchildren; Chance, TaGenn, and Cadenn Armstrong, Gage & Austin Maupin, Nolan, Maci, Murray, David & Mia Gonzalez. Siblings - Phyllis Walker, Harold Crockett, Leora Kindred, Wilbur Crockett and Delores Sommers all from Indiana. Besides his parents he was deceased by his first wife Joan, and Helen Prickril, and a son David.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 2:00 P.M. in the Bidwell Funeral Home. Family will receive friends from 1:00 until the time of Services. Military Rites will be conducted at the Funeral Home under the direction of the St. Anthony V.F.W. and American Legion.
