Sherman H. Moore

   Sherman Harland Moore 88, passed away May 27, 2011 at the Homestead Assisted Living Center in St. Anthony from natural causes.

Mr. Moore was born Oct. 21, 1922 in Teton, Idaho the son of Harland and Ethel Hughes Moore. He grew up in Teton where he attended his elementary schooling, he also attended Sugar Salem High.

During World War II at the age of 18 he joined the U.S. Army. He married Eileen Mildred Morris on Feb. 23, 1946 at Dillon Montana. They have lived in St. Anthony, Rigby, Kanab, UT.; Rexburg and back to St. Anthony. Sherman worked for the Idaho Stud Mill for over 20 years. Sherman was baptized as one of Jehovah's Wittiness in a cold canal in Wilford, Idaho in 1952 and has been a active member. In his younger years he enjoyed fishing.

He is survived by his wife Eileen of St. Anthony, ID.; one daughter Patricia (Roger) Campbell, Boise, ID.; 4 Grandsons and 5 Great Granddaughters. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by a son Brad in Dec. of 1999 and four brothers.

Memorial services will be conducted Saturday, June 4, 2011 at 2:00 P.M. in the St. Anthony Riverview Cemetery with Randy Tanner of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah'a Witness, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of the Bidwell Funeral Home.
