Shirley Marie Cox Anderson

   ?Shirley Marie Cox 60, passed away July 12, 2014 in the Rexburg Care Center following a lingering illness with liver cancer.
Shirley was born Sept. 5, 1953 at Port Alberni, British Columbia, Canada the daughter of George C. and Elizabeth Steeves Cox. She grew up in Vancouver, B.C. where she attended her schooling graduating from John Oliver High School and attended one year at Langara College. She also took several courses at Ricks College in Rexburg, ID. She worked as a stenographer and as a health care worker for several years.
She married Steven Robert Andersen on July 1, 1998 at Shelley, ID. They made their home on Hwy 33 near Teton City.
Shirley is survived by her husband Steven Andersen of Teton City, her Father and Step Mother George C and Dorothy Cox of Kamloops, B,C, Canada, Siblings- Gordon Cox, Surrey B.C.; Helen (David) Douglas, Surrey, B.C.; Kenneth (Barbara) Cox, Burnaby, B.C.; Alan (Elizabeth) Cox, Richmond, B.C.; Lorraine St. Jean, Sechelt, B.C. and Glenn Cox, Abbotsford, B.C. She was preceded in death by her Mother of Rimbey, Alberta Canada and a sister Diane C. Halisheff, Kamloops, B.C.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, July 16, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in the Teton LDS Church with Bishop Ryan Lerwill, officiating. Friends may call at the Teton Church form 9:30 to 10:45 just prior to the services. Mrs. Cox will be sent back to Hoadley Alberta Canada for burial. Services are under the direction of the Bidwell Funeral Home.
