Wilma Hill Wilding

  Wilma Hill Wilding, 89, a longtime resident of Teton City, died July 3, 2012 at the Ashton Living Center.
Wilma was born November 20, 1922 at Twin Falls, Idaho the daughter of William Thomas Munjar Hill and Zina Luella Crandell. She grew up in Driggs and Sugar City, Idaho, graduating from Sugar City High School. She enjoyed being the drum majorette throughout her high school years.
She married Lee Orin Wilding on November 4, 1941 in the Logan LDS Temple. They made their home and raised their family in Teton. Over the years, they spent many summers in West Yellowstone, Montana and winters in Brownsville, Texas. She and her husband enjoyed dancing. They taught square dancing, round dancing and ballroom dancing for many years from Montana to Texas and many points in between. She was active in the LDS Church serving in the YWMIA, as Ward Drama Director and Dance Director. She was also a member if the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers.
She is survived by her children: Doreen (Dennis) Gregan, Blackfoot, ID.; Lanny (LaRue) Wilding, Idaho Falls, ID.; Jackie (Phil) Winterowd, Salmon, ID.; Blair (Kelly) Wilding, Springfield, OR.; Tauna Saurey, Chester, ID., in-laws Milton and Mona Wilding, Sugar City, ID.; and a sister-in-law Janice Wilding, Teton, ID.; 14 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and 2 great great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by the love of her life Lee, her parents, 5 brothers, 4 sisters, a son-in-law and a grandson.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday, July 6, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in the Teton Second Ward LDS Church with Bishop Craig Carter, officiating. Friends may call at the church Friday from 9:45 until the time of services. Burial will be in the Teton-Newdale Cemetery.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the loving and caring people of the Ashton Living Center for the wonderful care that they provided to Wilma.
